Nice how the shadow in this photograph has dominance of the actual subject. The flower is almost translucent and the shadow is dark and big. Well spotted and executed!

My car broke down on a road trip from NYC to Kansas City earlier this year, and I was stranded on the side of the road in Columbia, MO for about three hours. Fortunately, I had my camera! As the sun started to go down, I discovered this little guy casting a large shadow and it seemed to convey the way I was feeling at the time. Thanks for the honor of this recognition! I love this photo for memory it brings of this story, and I'm so glad you loved it, too!
