Cat Photo Competition 1 2021 : Entry Number 33

This is such a soft, almost magical image that reminds us of a film photo. The varying planes which define the depth of field - from the blurred and twisted branches in the foreground to the peaceful cat hidden and the leaves, to the soft receding tangle of brush, allow the viewer to wander through the photo to explore the various textures and shapes, with the eye settling firmly on this lovely cat. Nicely done.

I took the photo during a trip in Capo Miseno (southern Italy). I swear I was really impressed by this intricate compositon, that' s why I chose this perspective!
