This is a lovely capture of this cat ... the viewer can almost feel its calm presence, and the variety of textures in the stones, mortar, barbed wire fence, and the cat itself, keeps the viewer's eye moving throughout. Nicely done. ~ illona

Thank you very much for your wonderful feedback and for considering my picture for a Mark of Excellence! This shot shows a croatian street cat, a survival artist inbetween the ruins. I was so touched by her presence and dignity in all this morbidity and i'm full of respect for her, leading such a hard life and still beeing such a strong appearance. This was shot with my Fujifilm X-T20 and the xc 50-230 lense. Post processing in Gimp. Congratulations to the winner! Michaela from Germany
