The movement, that spontaneous connection between this man and woman, and the story which that creates make this a great street themed shot. The nighttime background, the buildings and strong overhead light bring atmosphere and contrast to this monochrome, the artistic blurr takes us into the eye of the observer. The name of this picture is "LOVE IS IN THE AIR" It is a composition of two pictures.The background picture was taken with the Leica SL with Noctilux. The couple was photographed in a Milonga (tango Dancing Bar) with x-pro1/35mm.. The street is in the old town in Stuttgart. Since I wanted to put the erotic tension between this couple in a framework of its own, I transposed the couple in a street that belongs only to them, hence the blurred touches. It is a dream. Strangers and difference are next to the eternal theme of love, this picture shows the mind space in which two human beings encounter each other. They are alien and they find that irresistible.
