What makes this image so striking is the framing of the cat in the corner turning into the image, and the soft, shallow-depth-of-field over all, which allows the viewer to truly focus on the cat. I believe the image would be even stronger if focus had been on the cat's face/eye instead of the back, but the textures of the grasses and the tabby cat make for an intriguing image. ~ illona
