The camera I used was a standard Canon 600d and a cheap Tamaron 18-200-mm lens. For the lightning I used a 30+ year old cullmann flashlight that I bought for 10 or 20 Euro from Ebay and a set of pixel pawn triggers. Well and there was also a very basic tripot in play. The technique is basically the same as in one of the Tim Wallace tutorials I found later on, on the kellbyone channel.
I just didn't use a HDR as a base photo,....! Now for all the ones who don't know that tutorial,....I just framed the car nicely, then I set the camera on timelaps mode (10 sec a picture) and then walked all around the car with my flashlight and tried to take as much interessting shots....lightwise.....as I could. Finally I blended the single shots together in Photoshop!
