Landscape Photo Competition 2015 No 2 : Entry Number 124

Hi, my name is Fergal Gleeson. I'm a landscape photographer living in Carlow, Ireland. I shot this image I call "The Dark Woods" near Ducketts Grove, Co. Carlow on a foggy afternoon, It's a small wooded area just in off the roadway. The fog creeping through the trees adds an eerie, enchanted feel to the scene. I captured this image using a nikon d7000 using an 18-200mm lens set at 70mm, iso 400, f13 at 1/6 sec. Post processing was very minimal, just a small bit of cropping, added some contrast and tweaked the white balance slightly. I am delighted to receive a mark of excellence for this photo. Thank you!
