Everything is so perfectly placed in this photo, your composition has been meticulously prepared, the pizza turning beautifully upon itself, the chef’s dexterity and skill perfectly seized. Every implement has its place and space, even the light bulb adds to the creation…. The monochrome works very well and you have developed the most beautiful tones. Great shot, congratulations!

Delighted to win. This pizza man was cooking in a tiny local pizzeria/restaurant in a small village in Tuscany. He was fantastically patient when I started taking the photos and was obviously very passionate and talented about his pizzas. It was shot on a M240 with a 50mm lens and I'm really chuffed that this shot has won... so thank to everyone! Howard Shooter
