Mobile Phone Panorama Competition : Entry Number 12

A very unusual and creative look at the enormous redwood trees, and the full 180 degrees gives you such an interesting view of the place, the point of view of the photographer.

My names Connor Harris. I took this photo while on a week long road trip to California. Originally we hadn't planned on heading o kings canyon (where this photo was taken) but while in Yosemite valley an old man recommended we stop by. I was having trouble capturing the true massive size of the majestic red woods at 18 mm on the dslr I had just gotten a few months before for graduations kit lense. Then I remembered panorama mode on the iPhone 4S. I panned up the whole tree and noticed I had some more room to go. it took a couple try's to get the whole 180 degrees and I ended up lying on my back To keep from losing balance and tripping backwards. I used camera+ to edit. This photo means alot to me. This trip was like the last hoorah for me and my friends I'd grown up with. about a month later we all moved away from home and I'm glad I could share it
