Food Photo Competition 2013 No 2 : Entry Number 71

A sticky story which we have all experienced ! The nice red background really sets off the crumpet. Not only is this nicely artistic and very clever but it reminds us all of that time we dribbled honey all over our clothes. A carefully managed photograph which i imagine took a lot of time to get right.

This was taken with a Canon 5D Mark ii, in studio. I put Skewers through the waffle, loaded it with syrup, had my assistant flip it and there ya go! I think I went through a box of waffles till I got a shot I liked.
