Sports Photo Competition 2013 No 1 : Entry Number 102

I like this as a black and white image, good choice of process...the composition is a little off to make it a winner for me, but still a strong effort. I really think if the photographer had took lots more shots and got an even more dynamic shot of the same subject, this could easily have won the competition. Keep up the good work.

This was taken a couple of years back when I was a student photographer with a Canon 30D and 70-200. Sheffield has a rich history of boxing and continues to produce some talented boxers. I do a lot of street photography now but still find time to do sports every so often.
