what a fun and engaging image. the b&w conversion is skillful, and in this case reduces the photo to its key elements, the beach, surf, the owner, and the advancing puppy with its swinging tail. the composition of these elements truly stands out when presented in this conversion. well done! ~ illona

I took this photograph an early morning on South Padre Island with my D700 and Vivitar 35mm f1/4 lens. We had been driving all night just to catch a glimpse of the sunrise over the Texas Gulf and everyone was excited, mostly my friends dog, to roam freely in the sand dunes.
