I am especially honored and excited to receive this award. Instead of hiking the trail along the north shore of Convict Lake, my husband and I kayaked along the shoreline, where you get a different perspective than when on land. I was able to get this shot because I was on the water! I used a Nikon D80, 18-200mm Nikkor lens @ 52 mm, 1/200, F10, ISO 125 with minimal post-processing in Adobe Photoshop.
