I am very excited and honored to have received this award! We visited Convict Lake in the Eastern Sierra on my birthday in the fall of 2011, which actually was a second choice! Although I’ve visited many times, this was my first fall visit and I was really wowed by the autumn color and lake reflections. I used a Nikon D80, 18-50 mm lens @ 18 mm, 1/200, F 11, ISO 125, with processing in Adobe Photoshop . Thank you all who voted for my photograph! ~ Kimberly Kolafa
