A young girl diving into a deep pool, having both eyes open - what a truly striking photograph this is. Also the light pinkish skin color in the dark blue water. Her body is all bent back. Congratulations, on this so very well composed photograph!

My name is Dana Chapman and I'm a photographer based in Virginia Beach, Va. This photo was taken using a Nikon D90 and Tokina 10-17mm Fisheye inside an Ikelite underwater housing. Two Ikelite DS-160 underwater strobes were used to light the subject. I used Lightroom 3 to tweak some colors and boost the overall contrast of the image.
