This is perfectly taken, everything is so well placed, the calm of the sand setting off the sky detail, the unbroken wave full of hope… It is though one of those pictures we feel we have seen before, so it loses that edge which makes a winner.

This was shot at Jekyll Island, Georgia on Driftwood Beach, I call it "Just be Still" it was shot with a Nikon D7100 at ISO 100 @ F/8. I create all of my work in Raw format and use LightRoom for final processing.
