First, I feel honored the judges selected one of my pictures for an "Excellence" award in this fiece black and White competion! My name is Mark Seawell and I'm an American living in Germany close to Ramstein. This picture was taken with my Panasonic G1, my first Micro Four Thirds camera . It was taken on the outskirts of a small town called Steinwenden about 10 minutes from Ramstein Air Force base where I work. As is often the case here, the mist was heavy and provided a wonderful opportunity to capture something unique. I used Adobe Lightroom Ver 3 and Niks Silver Efex pro for my post processing.
