Thanks for the Mark of Excellence! This was taken hand-held with my Canon 5D Mk II + Canon 100mm f/2.8L macro lens. Shot in my kitchen in front of a window with a silver reflector opposite window, on a white plate with another white plate propped up for the background. The lighting was pretty poor and so I had to leave my aperture wide to properly expose it even with a high ISO; I don't really like how the top mushroom head is partly out of focus (would have been nice to stop down a little) but it was just an impromptu shoot in my kitchen, having fun. 1/80 sec, f/3.5, ISO 1250. Processed in LR4 and I also added a bit of texture in Photoshop CS5. Thanks again!
