- This is a fabulous and fun image of this black and white cat peering down the staircase. The angle is wildly perfect, and the contrast of varying textures - the old wood, the iron balusters, and then the detail of the cat's fur and whiskers - keep this image rich, with lots to look at for the viewer. Nicely done Congratulations!

- Wow ! Thank you very much for this pleasure and this honor. My name is Jean Humblot (France), and this photo ("meeting on the stairs") was taken with my smartphone one fine morning when I woke up in the house of friends where I was spending a few days. It's a beautiful memory for me, and it will be even more so following this distinction! Many thanks again! ;) Jean

- This is an amazing image of this sweet kitten. Highlighted dramatically by the backlighting and the extension of its long shadow, amidst strong contrast of deep blacks and clean white highlights, this image draws the viewer in, following the long shadow to settle on the sweet kitten. Nicely done!

- What a fun and lovely image. There is so much to love about this simply composed image ... but it is its simplicity that allow the viewer to really focus on this beautiful cat's stunning eyes and those amazingly long whiskers as it sits with its toy. Nicely done!

- Oh, I'm a sucker for kittens, and this little nugget is adorable lying in its box, its incredible gaze squarely on the viewer, is a winner. What a lovely capture, and beautifully managed in post.

- Hi! Thank you soooo much for the mark of excellence :) This is our little Nebelung Sushi when he just arrived. Now he is not so little anymore but still the cutest cat in the world. I shot this photo on our balcony in natural light with my Sony a7 and the 50mm F1.8 lens. I did correct the light in Lightroom and minimal retouching. Kind regards Lara

- This is such a fun and lively image. The stunning colors of the rug's pattern encircling this resting tabby and the perfect centeredness of the image, work perfectly. Nicely done!

- This is a lovely black and white image that boasts an almost abstract quality. With the leading lines of the sunlight through the windows, this sun-bathing sphynx is the clear focus, sitting amidst geometric lines and shapes. Nicely done.

- This is such a clean black and white image, with good contrast and incredible depth of field which allows this young tabby and its inquisitive gaze to leap off the 'page'. Nicely shot and expertly handled in post.
