  • The early morning fog-filtered light was there, the location was calming, the water just still. So many elements came together for you here but you were expecting them. You have managed your composition beautifully - the isle just not touching the bank of the lake brings space and balance to the whole image. The textures are lovely, the colours too, and you have respected them with a refreshing and natural finish. This is a stunning photograph with a masterly touch. Congratulations you win!

  • Cuttingly sharp and crystal clear, the blue-hour blue entirely absorbing, the pink horizon makes the bent trees jump. Superb photograph!

  • A magical pastel starburst of trees. The textures are wonderful thanks to the vertical drone view, the colours are amazing. What are these pink trees?

  • I appreciate the acknowledgment! My name is Tyler McClure (tylermcclurephotogrophy.com) and I took this photo with a DJI Mavic Pro in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest of Washington State. I believe the pink trees were Hemlocks on the verge of death, and the bitter cold air made them throw a pink hue when viewed from 350'ft above. But I'm honestly not sure! Thank you again!

  • A flowing composition and a striking, perfectly placed sun star draw the eye to the distance and away from the globeflowers. I suspect this is a stacked image, the depth of field is remarkable… Your fairytale filter seems suitable here but it does take us a step away from reality.

  • It is very difficult to take a photograph through stunning beams of sunlight because the dynamic range in those conditions is so hard to manage. You have done very well here, the mist helping to dampen things down a little. You have caught a lovely atmosphere, well done!

  • This is fun, colourful and photographically clever. An intentional camera movement (ICM) can bring so much to a scene. Well done and experimenting leads to novelty.
