- Hello! My name is Monica and I live near Annapolis, Maryland. Thank you for your votes! I have entered i-shot-it contests many times & am so excited to finally earn a Mark of Excellence! It's validation that my photography is improving. Yay! This shot of the Osprey landing was taken at a nearby beach with my Nikon D3100; only cropping for post processing. It was fascinating to watch them practice take offs & landings while the sibling ospreys watched from the nest. Nature photography is my favorite!
