- Thank You So Much!! My name is Rhonda Mullen and I live on the southern shore of Lake Michigan. It is very rare to see surfers on the lake! On this day there were several! As the sun was going down and the surfers were just sitting, I began to shoot the waves!! I did not even know what I had until I got home!! This was shot with a Canon EOS Rebel T3i, f/4.5, 1/200 sec., exposure bias -0.7 step, and focal length 110 mm. I do not use photoshop so all that was done to this was to crop a bit and sharpen!! Thanks you again!!

- WOW... Thank you so much for the Mark of Excellence given to this pic. I'm thrilled and humbled. My name is Lasanthica Benedict. This photograph was taken at the Bolsa Chica Wetlands in Southern California using a Canon T3 with a 70-300mm Canon Telephoto Zoom Lens. The only post processing I did on this photograph was to convert this original color photograph to Black and White. It did not need any exposure / color corrections. I am an amateur photographer and Egrets, Great Blue Herons and Hummingbirds are my favorite subjects to photograph. I have been doing photography seriously now for about 7 months. Again, Thank You for this honor.

- Thanks!! My name is Rhonda Mullen This was shot at a Burger King in Michigan City Indiana. I pulled under a tree to put a straw into my drink and something kept hitting the top of my truck! I got out to look and there were so many of the Cedar Waxwings in the tree that they were running into each other dropping the berries!! So I got out my camera (I am never with out it!) and started shooting!! This is 1 of over 200 shot that day! Shot with a Canon EOS Rebel T3i at f/9, 1/640 sec., ISO 200, exposure bias -0.7 step and 300 mm. Again I do not use photo shot so the only things done to this were the crop, slight saturation added and sharpened! Thanks Again!

- I live in Southern California and take pictures of the Hummingbirds in my backyard. I use my Nikon D5100 with a 55-300mm lens. Just cropped the picture prior to processing. Thanks so much for all that voted for this picture, was exciting to get a "Mark of Excellence"
