- I am very grateful to all the Voters and the I-SHOT-IT team for this honor. I am always very happy to get featured here midst such wonderful photographs. Congratulations to all the Winners! My name is Prathap. I made this photo in Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary, Mysore, India. It is the photograph of my favorite bird called river tern (common tern). In this photograph, It is backlit as it approaches to land. Since the color of this bird is not prominent, I made it black and white to give prominence to light and shade. - Hi, I am Sonja and from Chattanooga, I have been hooked on photography ever since I received my first camera at 15, I am very honored to have a Mark of Excellence among so many wonderful photos. This was taken last December at sunrise on a very foggy morning, I was dropping my daughter off at a friends house, they live on top of a big hill and the fog was amazing. I took this with my camera I carry every where, A Kodak easyshare C813 , only post editing done was cropping out some of the yard in foreground . Thank you for your votes. :)
