    • Thank you so much for the votes and congratulations to the winners! My name is Amanda Jean Matlock and I live in Charleston, South Carolina. This photo was shot during sunrise at Folly Beach, South Carolina on May 28, 2012 using a Sony Cybershot HX100V (Settings: 1/1600 / f.5.6 / ISO 100 / 144mm / ND Filter). This is the Morris Island Lighthouse. Clouds were complements of Tropical Storm Beryl which gave an eerie look that I was able to capture.

    • The photo was taken a few days after New Years from the Town Pier in Salisbury Mass, looking back over the Merrimack River toward the Newburyport skyline, It was shot with a Nikon D600, that I literally took out of the box that morning, with a Sigma 70-200mm 2.8 lens at f11 at 1/1000 sec. It's a spot a go to a lot, I had a feeling there would be a pretty sky that afternoon, the geese were a nice bonus. My name is Jim Vaiknoras, glad you liked the photo.

    • Thank you very much for liking my photo. I used my Nikon D90 with a 85mm 1.8 lens. The lens in the picture is a -4.00 diopter lens the same lens that is used in making eyeglasses.

    • My name is David Coyne and I am an amateur photographer. While in Yosemite National Park I wanted to try making a time-lapse. I have never made a time-lapse before, I just thought I would give it a shot. This was one of the pictures that I used from the time-lapse. To process the image I used Lightroom4. The camera that was used was a Canon 5D Mark III with a 17-40mm L. This is the first time I posted a photo on "I-shot-it.com" and am very honored to receive a mark of excellence!
