- My name is Jesse Hofford, this photo of my younger sister, Nicole, at the St. Louis zoo was taken with a Nikon D3000. After it was taken I ran it through Adobe Lightroom and gave it some sharpening and clarity as well as made it black and white.

- this photo was taken during dusk at tully lake in royalston, ma. while setting up my tripod the clouds cleared to reveal a waxing crescent moon in the distance. perfect timing. this is a panorama of 4 shots using a nikon d3000 and a 35mm f1.8 lens. i used a graduated filter in lightroom to bring out the detail of the moon and clouds. thanks for your interest! sara https://www.facebook.com/sarasmilephoto http://www.sarasmilephotography.com/

- My name is Frederick Walker and I shot this photograph in the Chickamauga National Battlefield Park last November. The locomotive is making it's annual fall leave run from Chattanooga, TN to Summerville, GA. I shot this photo using a Nikon D7000. - Hi, my name is Jeff Spangler, thank you for recognizing this photo. This was taken at about 3:30 in the morning using a Canon Digital Rebel XT. The lake you see is Silver lake in Fenton Michigan. It was a fantastic light show to say the least and was fortunate enough to have my tripod with me at the time.

- Hello, my name is Jeff Spangler and this one was taken in Tawas Michigan. I love this beach along lake Huron. Over the years the wind has has swept the sand in such a manner that you can walk out into the water for about a quarter mile without getting you knees wet. The woman in the photo is my x-wife. I shot it with a Canon Rebel XT.

- Thank you for your votes! I'm Alexey Pronin, now live in Miami, Florida. This is one of the first photos I took in October 1992 with my very first SLR camera (Minolta with a 28-200 Tamron lens). Obviously, I used a film (negative), which was later scanned. I liked the way these water lilies looked back-lit with the sun behind them. Taken in St. Louis, Missouri.
