- This is an image that immediately makes me stop in my tracks and wonder what the story is. It has plenty of connections to youth in many countries, and possible situations. But mainly it seems to be a unique moment that also has a lot of suspense - qualities that make it continue to work every time you look at it.

- This image is a wonderful surreal image - the colors, the glasses, the bubbles and the interrelation between the viewer and the two persons. A classic.

- Vancouver, Canada. The girl is an organizer of the local Improv Anywhere street theatre group and as well as blowing bubbles, she was giving bubble blowing kits to passerby and encouraging them to blow bubbles as well. Shot on 35mm with a Nikon F3 HP, and scanned on a Kodak scanner. A little color processing was done in PhotoShop CS5.

- An excellent capture of a unique moment where they are truly in their own moment - and with an almost painful happiness expressed. The confetti frozen in the air supports the impression of a unique moment.

- This image is almost like a revisiting of the famous painter Edward Hopper. It even has the mysterious frozen person by the house that would make it fit right into an Edward Hopper painting. The mix of cold colors in the shadow side of the house with the warm colors and the red roof. It's just a very interesting picture.

- Saturna Island near Vancouver, Canada. The house is called Fog Horn House. The lady was unknown to me but i got a great series of photos as she walked around the house. This one was my favourite. The photo was taken with a Nikon D60 with an 18 -200 zoom lens at 200mm.

- We see this as a festival picture, and as such it has a good atmosphere. It's almost too graphical to count as a photo, but it works well - you feel the atmosphere.
