I am overwhelmed and hardly believed my eyes when I read your mail! I do feel very honored that you like my picture and granted it the first price even more when I saw the other pictures in the competition. They are all great and therefore I am very happy to be the lucky one. Thank you very much. The picture was taken on a flight from Frankfurt/Germany to Zurich/Switzerland. My name is Herman Schlindwein and I live and work in Frankfurt, Germany. The picture was taken with an iPhone and has been post processed with iPhone internal apps.

Great perspective, really not what you would think to do as a panorama, but it works very well.

Thank you very much for the Mark of Excellence. I am really honored. My name is Hermann Schlindwein and I am a German photographer. You are right, it is not a panorama by definition. But to be able to capture the passenger at the window seat behind me and the passenger at the window seat in front of me in one picture and by doing so creating a curved airplane generated the idea I should share it with you.
