Thanks for the votes everyone and congrats to the winner. This is a photo of Deadvlei in Namibia's Namib-Naukluft National Park. Nestled between huge sand dunes in the oldest desert in the world lies this clay pan with merely skeletons of Acacia trees left, some over 500 years old. The dune is illuminated by the early morning sun. (Canon 6D, 70-200mm 2.8 lens)
