Portrait photos often work well when taken in familiar surroundings, rather than a studio. Without a studio, it can be hit and miss with getting the ideal lighting. In this photo it just feels like everything came together to make the perfect photo. If I gave this photo a name I think it would be, "Hungry Eyes".
Rosa Fiorenzo said, "The photo was taken at the end of a lunch at the birthday party of my two sisters. There was a moment of serenity and I noticed that my niece Joy was playing with the plate while sitting in his mother's arms ... without a thought I immediately took the camera and dropped to the level of the table and took the photo. The light from the window made the difference."
