Thanks for all the votes! I am truly honored. This lady was shot last summer in my yard using a Lumix. I enhanced detail and cropped.

Greetings from Granbury, Texas. Thank You all for your support and your votes....I am honored beyond words. My name is Cissy Wilson. This photo is part of a series I have begun from the end of our dock in Grand Lake, Colorado. Every morning while in Colorado each summer, I go down to the dock in the pre-dawn hours and capture the magic that unfolds as the day slowly begins. No two mornings are alike, some are sublime-others are on fire. This morning was no different in its magic. I shoot with a tripod, my camera is a Canon 7d and the lens used was a EF 24-70mm 1:2.8 L USM. No post processing short of cropping. Nothing could have prepared me for what my lens captured ...out of nowhere popped this wonderful loon as if on command. Just as rapidly as he appeared, he disappeared under the surface. His visitation produced one of my favorite photos. Thank you I Shot It for offering this wonderful venue for photographers to share and support one another in pursuit of our passion.
Prize : $910.80 plus a Leica V-LUX 40 worth approximately $800

There is a darkness to this image, it shows how everything in life has an ending. Also, having this photograph taken through a window screen gives it a special mood and effect. In our digital age, it almost could be mistaken as being pixelated. Also the colors work well and in harmony. And of course - it always comes down to great light! This is definitive one of the artistic photos in this competition.
Congratulation form the I-Shot-It team!

This is my very first photo competition entry, and I am incredibly honored to have my photo featured among these exquisite works of nature photography. My name is Jacob Hillis (but I'm known primarily as Key Alan.) I am a writer, photographer, and recording artist from Rochester, New York USA. This photo was taken with my Canon EOS Rebel xsi and is of a dying tulip plant which was gracing my kitchen windowsill. So often I see the idea of "new life" in flower photography- I decided to do the opposite. Thanks again for this honor!

Thanks for all the votes! My name is David Fok. I made this photo during a shoot in the studio, we were working with powder when I put some in her hair. I thought it would be interesting if she flung her hair with the powder.
This photo is taken with a D800 and a 50mm lens with studio lights.

Thanks!
