love it. the cool tones, the receding line leading to both the subject and its reflection, the contrast of the soft curtain with the strong lines of the window, all make for an instant appeal to this image. but it's the expression captured -- both on the cat and repeated in its reflection -- that make this a truly memorable image. nicely done! ~ illona

My name is Nic Chung, i'm a full time Wedding and Fashion Photographer. This is my housemate's cat, her name is Meow Meow. I saw her looking at the window, then i grabbed my Leica M8 with a Leica 40mm F2 Summicron lens and took this picture. I used Lightroom 4 to post process this photo, only slight white balance adjustment to cool temperature toning. Please visit my facebook fan page to view more of my works. Thank you.

ROBIN VINSON...Taken with Nikon D5100. On land near the BADLANDS of South Dakota. The horses range freely. I captured this shot in early spring where grass is plentiful and the spirit of the horses is high!
Prize : $591.00 plus a Leica V-LUX 40 worth approximately $800

This is a stunning photo! Full of texture and contrast. The selective focus in this photo works superbly. Sharp, crisp and spiky in the foreground - out of focus and soft in the background. It gives the impression, that you can touch it and poke yourself. Congratulation to the winner!

Now I am not one to get excited but I will have to admit I did lose a little composure when I saw my photo had been chosen as a winner. I thank you so much for liking my photo with so many beautiful shots to view. This was taken on one of my many early morning walks around my yard. I love dew and make it a practice to go out early to enjoy it. I was using my Canon 40D and 100mm macro lens at f7.1 My name is Cindy Zweiacher I live in Missouri USA and truly do thank you.

These fish hang out with the flamingos and are actually begging for food, they hear the gum ball machine (filled with pellets) giggle and they come up to the surface to beg for food. The picture was taken with a Nikon d3200 and a standard 200mm lens. Post processed only for a haze border and minor color boost. Thanks to everyone for picking this winner it was a nice surprise.
