Free Photo Competition 2012 Week 10

Hi, my name is Andrew Millner and the photo was taken in Kenilworth Queensland Australia. The camera I used was a Canon 7D with a 100 400mm f4.5 lens. The photo only had to be cropped in post. Thank you to the I SHOT IT team for such a fantastic competition site and all the wonderful people that voted. The little bird in the photo is a Willie wagtail.

Thank you for all the votes! My name is Stuart Partridge and I took this picture with my trusty Nikon D90 on a river leading off from Crescent Lake in the Lake Clark Wilderness area of Alaska. I get a lot people tell me that the picture is oversaturated by looking at the color of the water but in fact with it being glacier run-off the water was naturally that color. Again, thanks for the votes! (my favorite was the photo of the man holding up the puppy)

Meet Bennie Cat our 8 year old rescue. I put a blanket on the floor and within seconds he was under it. I grabbed the closest camera and got off this one shot as he popped up. My name is Gregg, this photo was taken at the World Bird Sanctuary in Missouri. I used a Cano 50D with a Canon 70mm-200mm F/4 L lens. You can get very close to these birds since they are injured and being treated and cared for until they are well enough to return to the wild.
